Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus.The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.
HOW DO IT SPREADCoronavirus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth.

Procedure handling COVID-19 in DENTAL CLINIC.
1. Screening of patients before registration.
2. Clinical examination and travel history.
a) FEVER >38°C
b) Respiratory infections such as cough, shortness of breath or sore throat with FEVER or NOT FEVER
c) History of travel or settle in countries with outbreaks or close contacts.
Patient with symptom 2a & 2b, treatment done for emergency case only.
Patient with symptom 2c. Please call Hospital and follow the guideline given.
Procedure handling COVID-19 in DENTAL CLINIC.
Patient with full symptom 2a,2b, and 2c will be isolated in another room or within 1 meter from other patients.
Dental Nurse should wash hand and clean all the surrounding area.
Prepare referral letter and call Hospital for transportation.
Lastly please disinfect isolation room, equipment that had been use before.
